Shelter

Painted in 2015, Shelter is one of my personal favorites. I painted the original under extreme pressure. My reproduction collection had started to gain traction within the design industry. There were high expectations in what new work I would introduce. Shelter was different than most of my work, minimalistic and quiet. A bit of irony considering the pressure and conditions I painted it under. The painting was unexpected and gave me a sense of calmness and clarity.

Over the years reproductions of Shelter have been used in several high profile installations.
