I grew up in Northern Texas, under big blue skies, usually barefoot and on horseback. Those early memories — the freedom to explore, to be curious — shaped the way I see the world and ultimately the way I paint it.

As an adult, I spent many years in the high deserts of Arizona, where my artistic journey deepened. Surrounded by canyons, quiet, and endlessly inspiring sunsets, the Southwest is where my voice as an artist truly found its shape. The work that emerged from those years became the foundation of everything that followed.

I am a self-taught artist, finding my way through years of trial and error — learning what paint does when it's layered slowly, how color creates feeling before the eye even registers a form. My work has never been about defining a scene. It's about leading you somewhere: a mood, a memory, an emotion — and letting your own imagination fill in the gaps.

Today I paint (and dabble in clay) from a tree house studio in Oak Cliff, Texas. I travel the world for inspiration, forever chasing the creative flow.
